I think you ehanced the horse's look with a really nice way.
The background is just sketched thanks to the same color between the closing and the sky, you could not do that with a colorful picture, and it's really graphically good.
Maybe a little expansion of the framing would be interesting : The subject would more circled by the white of the sky could be more "protruding". Maybe it could give you an idea ? So I think is a really little detail !
So is a really beatiful image like that, and is a great shot with a cute and expressive horse !!! Well done !
What do you think?

This is just lovely. I am loving looking at your photagraphy and I love that most of it is black and white. It's refreshing to see after only seeing color everywhere. Amazing...

I love this image - not sure I see 'fuzziness' - I can count the hairs on Zorran's face. I also like the person 'cut off' because this conveys that this is an animal who is cared for and loved by humans (they are part of his life), but Zorran clearly is an animal who is his own master, in a sense. Not to be tamed by a mere human. Having the person all the way in the picture would take away this sense of 'wildness'. You can see he senses everything she is doing - she is a minor character. I've looked at a lot of Ander's work - this composition is intentional.

Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it. The composition is -like you say- intentional Zorran is the subject.

Beautiful image. My only critique- It is a bit too fuzzy- the image. And I think maybe zooming out, so the person isn't cut in half, might have been a better image, better balanced, but I am not sure on that. Great job with this, and beautiful horse.

Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it. The composition is intentional, Zorran is the subject. However....I think it would have worked with the whole human also but that had been another story, more a 'Daily Life' photo than a portrait. Will give that a try next time :-) Once again, thanks for taking the time writing the critique !
